Question 1: If 5 v is applied across the circuit with 10 $\Omega$ resistance. Calculate the current flowing through the circuit?
Given: Voltage v = 5v, Resistance R = 10 $\omega$.
The current through the conductor is given by

I = $\frac{v}{R}$ = $\frac{5v}{10 \omega}$ = 0.5 A


Question 2: A car accelerates from rest at speed 6 m/s for 5 s. Calculate the acceleration.
Initial velocity u = 0, Final velocity v = 6 m/s, time taken t = 5s
The acceleration is given as

a = $\frac{v-u}{t}$ = $\frac{10 m/s - 0}{5s}$ = 2 m/s2.
